Handcrafted using natural olive wood, each piece in the Saarde collection of olive wood kitchen and tabletop pieces, including this olive wood rustic board, is hard, durable and non porous. Each board is unique because of both its hand crafted character and the striking knots and grain found in the olive wood. Each piece is kiln dried for durability and becomes darker and richer in colour as it ages.

CARE
Hand wash only.
Avoid leaving olive wood sitting in water to keep it from cracking.
Occasionally rub a small amount of food safe oil such as linseed or olive oil onto the wood using a kitchen towel or lint free cloth. This will keep the wood from drying out and will bring out the natural grain and colouring of the wood.
SUSTAINABILITY
Saarde Olive Wood products are made in small batches, as their artisans in Tunisia carve each piece from only pruned Olive branches or dead trunks. This means they are not cutting from fruit giving Olive trees which helps preserve our beautiful nature!
